Seen & Supported

1:1 Parenting Dyslexia Support for mums who want to feel calm, confident, and connected while raising a child with dyslexia.

You just got the diagnosis (or maybe you’re still waiting).

You’re overwhelmed. Exhausted. Googling late at night.

And deep down, you’re asking: "How do I make sure my child doesn’t lose confidence in who they are?"

If that’s you, you’re not alone.

I’m Bernadette, founder of Daring Dyslexic, a dyslexic woman, and mum of an incredible neurodivergent son. I know the heartbreak, the confusion, and the fight to make sure your child is seen, supported and celebrated.

And I created this space just for you.

This isn’t just about coping. It’s about leading.

Seen & Supported is a 3-month private support space designed to help you:

  • Build your child’s self-worth and self-belief—without trying to "fix" them

  • Shift from reactive to empowered parenting

  • Set strong boundaries with schools, family, and even your own inner critic

  • Advocate with clarity, strength and calm

  • Learn tools to connect deeply with your child in the moments that matter most

This is the emotional, energetic, and practical support I wish I had when I started this journey.

You don’t need to figure it out alone.

💬 6 x 60-minute private support sessions over 3 months (Zoom or phone)

✉️ Email support between sessions (ask questions, celebrate wins, or get a pep talk)

🎓 Customised support materials: PDFs, journal prompts, reflection exercises

🔍 Access to relevant tools from the Dyslexia Mindset Journal & parenting toolkit

This is tailored support, not a one-size-fits-all program.

Investment
$1497 AUD (payment plan available on request)

I know the financial load of assessments, therapies, and tutoring can feel overwhelming. That’s why I want you to know this is not just another short-term cost—it’s a long-term investment.

The tools, techniques, and mindset shifts we create together are ones you and your child will carry for a lifetime. This isn’t a “use it and you’re done” kind of product—it’s deep, lasting support that strengthens both you and your child well beyond our 3 months together.

Your child is already paying the cost of being misunderstood. Let’s make sure they don’t pay the cost of losing who they are.

Bernadette Haigh, Founder Daring Dyslexic

Meet Your Guide, Bernadette

Hi, I’m Bernadette—but you can call me B. (Because let’s be honest, “Bernadette” is a rough name to spell as a dyslexic kid!) I’m a proud dyslexic, a full-time single mum, and the heart behind Daring Dyslexic.

My mission is simple but significant: to see every child with dyslexia feel proud of who they are, know what they’re capable of, and see dyslexia as the advantage it can be.

My own school years were anything but easy. I struggled in a system that didn’t understand me, was told my brain didn’t work as well as others', and carried the scars of bullying for years. But dyslexia also gave me grit, creativity, and drive. By my early 20s, I was running a multi-million-dollar business, and I realised it wasn’t luck. It was my dyslexic brain at work.

Now, as the mum of a 12-year-old son with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD, I’m deeply committed to making his journey (and yours) different from mine. I’ve spent years advocating for him, supporting his confidence, and helping him believe in himself, because I know mindset and self-worth are the foundation for thriving.

I’m also a qualified Neurolinguistic Programmer and an experienced coach and mentor, which means I bring both lived experience and professional tools to the work we’ll do together.

I’m not here to “fix” dyslexia. I’m here to challenge outdated systems, shift the narrative, and support families like yours to build confidence, advocacy, and emotional safety that lasts a lifetime.

If you’re looking for someone who truly gets it, who has walked this path, and who will hold space for you and your child with both compassion and courage—you’re in the right place.

B 💜
